No classes yesterday!
Met up with a friend for a разговорный обмен (language exchange) over 35 uah business lunches.
Finally got to use some new purchases, as the city had its (I think?) first thunderstorm of the year.
Took a meandering drive through town.
Back at work today, rain again.
Here's to hoping that April showers bring May flowers!
What's the weather like where you are?

My official first umbrella ever! Catty, of course :p |
Also, rainboots. It's been a lifelong dream to own a pair. Makes rainy days so much better! |

I LOVE that umbrella!
ReplyDelete: ) Yes, it's right up your alley, isn't it?
DeleteThat newspaper looks terrible. Glad you had a nice day out! We're alternating between Spring and Winter here. I have place for you to stay and enjoy the weather whenever you're ready!
ReplyDeleteThank you, Joyce!
DeleteWhat nice day. I must say I was really impressed by your ability to skateboard and take a picture of your boots at the same time, but upon second glance, I gather you're not really that skilled :)
ReplyDeleteHaha, no, I absolutely cannot ride a skateboard :p but I rock at standing on old tires in a playground and taking pictures at the same time. Polly, btw, I just watched one of the movies you recommended in an old post (Кавказская пленница). Cool film, thanks for the YouTube link!
DeleteIt was 97F yesterday. Today cooled off, 90F. Ha ha.
ReplyDelete90F? That's crazy talk! Arizona, wow.
DeleteI like your attitude. There is so much to look forward to, why muddy the waters. I am one of your Arctic readers from days past and attest that Fairbanks is going to be a messy place for some weeks because of the snow fall this year. I only wish we were seeing flowers soon.
ReplyDeleteThanks for your comment. I sure remember those muddy Fairbanks springs! And the best part of them- the sudden "greening" that heralds the arrival of summer. Hope the season goes well for you this year : )
