Odds and ends from earlier this spring...

Weekend hike with D.

The Revive! course finished and Madeleine sent everyone mail. (
Rainy days on the Willamette.
Sunny days on the Willamette.
My parents traveled to Japan and brought back this little cat...

Someone paid to put "Albus Dumbledore, he lives forever" on a library brick :p
Art museum.
The original cat trap is still working.
Cat trap #2 also works.
I found out really late that Oregon is in the path of August's eclipse. Here's an interesting article on how some local hotels started charging eclipse viewers up to $1,000/night:
Speaking of crazy prices: $600,000 for a 2 bed / 1 bath in the city....
...or just $33,000 more for a 4 bed / 2.5 bath in the suburbs. Which would you pick?

Tulip season has ended... now it's time for strawberry fields!

Working on a scrapbook of my husband's family tree. Slowly getting better at deciphering handwriting. Some of the pictures go way back.
One of the big cargo ships docked in town.
Haven't been eating any wheat or dairy lately.... it's no fun! But soon I'm going to have a Pizza Gluttony Day and make something like these again.
From my mother-in-law's birthday trip in May- her and I on the escalator inside Caesars Palace.
Boring healthcare insert? Or language inspiration?!
Lunch downtown at Garden Bar, a local salad-only restaurant that's really popular.
We saw this little cruise boat one day- the front reads Un-Cruise Adventures. Sounds cool!

Happy summer solstice! :)

    1. You definitely should make some, Liz! It's always a good time for pizza. :) :)
