Apartment Therapy, Part II

Without further ado, the new apartment!
(or click here for the whole story)

The entryway.
Lots of storage : )

The living room (it's a 2 bedroom apartment):

Like they say, it's all about the details-

1) chandelier 2) AIR CONDITIONER! 3) book collection left behind
There's a nice reading corner too. It's been a long, long time (try never) since we had one of those.

The bedroom:

I am a big fan of the wallpaper: pink stripes and sparkles. What more could a girl want? And that little vanity table? Always wanted one of those! But the best part is the light fixture- so pretty and delicate. There's also a door to the balcony hidden behind that lace curtain.

The bathroom:
An all-in-one bathroom. No more separate toilet and sink.
The kitchen:
It has a big kitchen table and connects to the balcony and the entryway. Kind of a manly kitchen, done in 5 different wood patterns.
The spacious balcony:
Almost looks like sauna, doesn't it?
The owner told me that when she lived here she and her husband would eat dinner out here every night on a tiny little table. We've taken to having meals out here as well so that the city view can be enjoyed.
A rainy afternoon
Evening

Overall, the apartment far exceeds my expectations. It's actually nicer than any place we've lived. Ever. The decor is really entertaining because it's so elaborate, nothing I could have dreamed up on my own. Each room has its own style. I can tell that the owner has put a lot of love into the design.

What do you think?

  1. Very good apartment! I like it!
There is enough room for two americans and their guests or 20 asian guest workers! :)
